THE INAUGURAL CROSSING

Solo on the board but never alone on the journey.

Solo on the Board. Never Alone on the Journey.

Every movement begins with someone willing to take the first step.

This September, I'll make the inaugural Invisible Crossing as a solo paddleboard expedition across Long Island Sound—not because this journey is meant to be done alone, but because every tradition has to begin somewhere.

The Invisible Crossing was born from a simple belief:

No One Crosses Alone. This first crossing shines a light on the invisible journeys millions of people face while recovering from brain injuries, PTSD, Lyme disease, long COVID, autoimmune conditions, and other invisible challenges.

My hope is that this becomes the first chapter of an annual event unlike anything else in the world—bringing together hundreds of paddleboarders, support boats, families, and waterfront communities to raise awareness, build connection, and fund life-changing support through Brain Right. Body Good.

This year, I may be the only paddler on the board. But this journey has never been about one person.

It's about building a future where No One Crosses Alone and More is Possible.
